Come join WOD toys in setting a world record for having the most number of families working out in one location! The first ever ‘Family Fitness World Record’ event will be held at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds on November 30, 2013.
Work off some of those post-Thanksgiving pounds during this fun, family fitness event, this will be a specially designing family friendly workout sure to get everyone moving!
Event Objectives:
- Set a World Record for Family Fitness
- Encourage Families to be Active Together
- Encourage Healthy Habits during the Holiday Season
World Record Attempt:
The count for this year’s Family Fitness World Record attempt will be validated by our nonprofit partners MDA & Everett Children’s Museum. The attempt will also be documented through video & still images & submitted to RecordSetter.com & WorldRecordAcademy.com.
The Work Out:
The workout will be a time based workout comprised of several body movements that will be scored on the amount of reps each family member can accomplish together. The reps will be self judged. At the end of the workout the total number of reps by each family member will then be added up & averaged amongst the number of family members. This will be your families score that will be placed on the venue white board. Top 3 families will be recognized at the end of the event & receive prices & medals.
